The whiteboard surface is the main part and important display part of the electronic whiteboard. Its maintenance needs to start from two aspects: daily use, maintenance and cleaning. Leaderhub
will introduce you in detail:
Does Not Touch the Board
During the use of the whiteboard, nothing can touch the surface of the board. The contact with the whiteboard is too diverse or contacts with items that can generate electronic interference will cause some writing operations on the electronic whiteboard to be unable to be recorded. If it is in contact with the magnet, it will make a "humming" sound, which affects the normal use of the whiteboard.
The board surface of the electronic whiteboard
is generally made of high-quality wear-resistant materials, and it is generally difficult to break during normal use, but it is necessary to avoid using sharp objects (such as knives, sharp nails, etc.) to destroy and scratch the board surface.
Log out of the System Before Cleaning the Electronic Whiteboard
Before cleaning the electronic whiteboard panel, the interactive electronic whiteboard should first be removed from the system. Because touching the screen while the computer is in another state (for example, a program is open or on the desktop), applying pressure to the screen can activate programs or clutter icons. After exiting the system, put the projector into standby mode, which makes it easier to show smudges and streaks. When moving the copyboard, do not touch the screen or wipe the whiteboard.
Under normal circumstances, do not let the writing on the board for a long time, it is not easy to clean. In the process of using the electronic whiteboard, you cannot use oil-based colored pens to write on the electronic whiteboard! In case this happens, you must immediately wipe the surface of the electronic whiteboard with absorbent cotton dipped in alcohol.
In order to ensure a good display effect of the board surface, the board surface needs to be cleaned frequently. If the electronic whiteboard is used frequently, it is best to clean it once a week or so to maintain the best clarity.
To remove marks left by permanent markers, cover them completely with dry-erase marker ink, then wipe off with a soft cloth. Dry-erase inks contain solvents that dissolve permanent inks. If traces of the original permanent ink remain, spray the area with a standard glass cleaner or whiteboard cleaner and wipe away.
Soft Cloth for Cleaning
Generally speaking, the cleaning of the writing surface of the electronic whiteboard can be done with a clean soft cloth. Never wipe the screen with a dry cloth to avoid electrostatic charge. The damp cloth used for scrubbing must be wrung dry, so that no water can flow out, and no water can penetrate into the board from the bottom frame. It can also be used after trying non-abrasive denatured alcohol and glass cleaner on a small area. Special whiteboard cleaners can achieve better cleaning results. If you encounter difficult-to-remove dirt, you can spray the cleaner on the panel and wipe it off with a paper towel.
Note that when wiping dirt, do not use thinner and volatile oil to wipe the writing surface of the whiteboard, otherwise discoloration may occur or the writing surface may be damaged; also do not use detergents containing surfactants such as furniture cleaners, otherwise it may cause the writing content to fail. wipe away. Before cleaning, it is best to check the instructions provided with the whiteboard equipment for operation.
